Land Clearing and Grubbing
Land Clearing and Grubbing in Bentonville
A wooded or overgrown lot has to be opened up before any site work begins, and Virtualstrategist clears it clean. We take down trees, cut back brush and undergrowth, and then grub the ground, pulling stumps and roots below the surface so they cannot rot, settle, or push back up under a slab. On a heavily wooded acre off Moberly Lane, that grubbing step is the difference between a stable pad and one that sinks in a year.
Why Grubbing Matters
- No buried surprises. Roots and stumps left in the ground decay and leave voids that cause settling under foundations and driveways.
- A workable subgrade. Once the organics are out, the soil can be compacted to a load-bearing subgrade the build needs.
- Less waste to haul. On-site mulching turns brush into usable ground cover instead of truckloads of debris.
Our Process
We call 811 first, then work the lot in stages: fell and limb the trees, chip or haul the brush, and grub the stumps and root balls with an excavator. Cleared organics are mulched on site or hauled off, and we rough-grade behind the clearing so the parcel is ready for the next step. Erosion-control blankets and silt fence go in where slopes demand them.
